  1. In what universe is Candy Spelling one of the most influential and critically acclaimed authors in Hollywood? Not this one. It’s ridiculous to include her (and a couple of the others) in this list, as she made only a tiny fraction of her fortune from writing. Why not include Bill Gates? He wrote a couple of books as well.
